Dr. Anil K. JAMPALA,
Vice-President, Satyam Computer Serviced Ltd., has rich global experience in varied fields.

He is presently heads the Technology & partnerships division of Emergency Management and Research Institute (EMRI) as Vice President.

As President of Brahma Solutions, he has provided Consulting and Training services to many MNC companies including ADP India Private Ltd., Analog Devices, Cell Exchange, Deloitte Consulting, PB Systems Inc., Polaris, SumTotal Systems, etc.

Prior to Brahma Solutions, he was President and CEO of Inspira Technologies (P) Ltd, an ISO  9001 certified off-shore development center of US company Inspira Inc. During his tenure, many projects and products were executed successfully in varied areas.  For Govt. of Andhra Pradesh's core On-Line Transaction Processing (OLTP) pilot project, we were able to beat best of MNCs. This project was launched when Bill Gates visited Hyderabad on 14th November 2002. What is billed as "In-line to On-line",  can now be called “PDA to Portal”. A rural citizen can get services delivered efficiently from village level kiosk by accessing either the state portal  via AP State Wide Area Network (APSWAN), or using  hortizonal and vertical connectivity among 10 key departments and integration with legacy systems.

Prior to Inspira, he was co-promoter and Executive Director of Resonance Technologies (P) Ltd, an ISO  9001 certified off-shore development center of US company Resonance Technologies Inc. During his tenure, many projects and products were executed successfully in varied areas.  Products were developed in medical informatics, eGovernance applications for local government and banking sector.

Prior to Resonance, he worked 10 years for Alstom Esca in Bellevue, WA, in Energy Management Systems (EMS) business, contributing to such  large projects as Pennsylvania Power & Light, Madison Gas & Electric, Puget Power (USA) and Public Power Corporation of Greece, and Light Rio project of Brazil.

He currently holds a voluntary Secretary position at HYderabad Software Exporters Association (HYSEA) and is an active member of Managing Committee of HYSEA for last 5 years.

He has been a member of IEEE for the last 23 years. He is also a Vice-Chairman (2001,2003,2004), past Treasurer (1999,2000) for IEEE Hyderabad Section. During his tenure, many successful initiatives have been taken, resulting in significant increase in membership:

Fiscal and fiduciary discipline and reporting
Sound financial position of the Section
2000 members by Year 2000 (2k by Y2K goal)
Section Students Congress is initiated in 2003 for the first time and successfully conducted again in 2004
Soft skills programs to student members
Focus on various regions in the state to increase membership and improve member initiatives
Organizing Chair, for Enabling Technologies For Smart Appliances 2005 conference (IEEE President was the Guest of Honor.)
Education related initiatives.

He received his Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering from University of Washington, Seattle in 1986 and his MBA from Seattle University in 1992.

He is the recipient of IEEE Millennium Medal and  Outstanding Social Service award and Service to HYSEA award by Hyderabad Software Exporters Association.

He has published nearly 20 papers in IEEE and international journals.
