Hyderabad Software Exporters Association HYSEA in association with APITCO and STP Hyderabad hosted the visit of a 10 member ICT delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia coordinated in India by FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) on 22nd Jan 07 at the Infosys facility, Manikonda, Gachibowli. The delegation was led by Dr. Abdul Aziz Abdul Latif Bakr Jazzar, Executive Partner, Malaz group and facilitated by the Joint Chamber of Commerce of Saudi Arabia. The objective of the visit is to explore business opportunities in the IT development and training segments with particular emphasis on Small and medium Enterprises (SMEs).

Dr.Anil Jampala, President, HYSEA welcomed the delegates and gave a brief on the relevance on such visits for mutual benefit of both countries. He also stated that HYSEA was represented recently in Nov-Dec’ 06 in an APITCO led delegation to KSA. Mr.Srinivas Rao, MD, APITCO briefed about the work done by his organization and Mr.Manoj Kumar, Director, STPI – Hyderabad explained the mission of STPI in facilitating the IT development in the country.

Dr.Abdul Aziz, the leader of the KSA delegation briefed the participants about the objectives of the visit. He also introduced members of the visiting delegation. The interactive meeting followed by one on one meeting with potential business partners from both sides yielded promising results and business leads to work on. The delegates also visited Invensys at Hitec city.
