HYSEA organized a luncheon meeting with Mr. Lyonpo Nandlal Rai, Hon'ble Minister for Information & Communications, Kingdom of Bhutan on Wednesday, 11th June 2008 at Taj Krishna.

Mr. Narsimha Rao, President, HYSEA , Welcomed the gathering and Capt Veeresh, Executive Director – IT, Dept of IT, Ministry of I&C, Royal Government of Bhutan made a detailed presentation on investment opportunities in Bhutan. Mr. J. A. Chowdary from TiE and Dr. C.S. Rao, IT advisor to Government of AP also spoke on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion the hon’ble Minister, Mr. Nandlal Rai, pointed out that Bhutan was the youngest democracy in the world with a newly elected democratic Government in office since April of 2008. The purpose of his visit, he said was to interact with the members of the IT industry and the Government and explore opportunities for investments in Bhutan by the India IT Industry.
