HYSEA  which has been promoting the interests of the IT/ITES industry in the state of Andhra Pradesh since its inception in 1991 formally launched its operations in Vijayawada today. HYSEA  Chapter at Vijayawada was inaugurated by Mr. S.K.Joshi, I.A.S., Secretary IT&C, Government of Andhra Pradesh at the Andhra Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Joshi applauded the efforts of HYSEA in promoting co-operation and good business practices among its member companies. He also felt HYSEA 's vast experience and goodwill would serve the Tier II cities like Vijayawada as well. Mr. Joshi also gave a brief account of the various initiatives taken at the state level to facilitate the overall growth of the IT industry in the state. 

Mr. Y. S. Prasad, Vice Chairman, VGTM-UDA, Mr.M.Rajaiah, President, Andhra Chamber of Commerce and Industry also graced the occasion. Brigadier Harikumar, Executive Director, HYSEA welcomed the gathering and outlined HYSEA plans for Tier II cities.

Mr. Ramakrishna, Managing Director of Efftronics, Vijayawada, proposed the vote of thanks.

The launch of the HYSEA chapter at Vijayawada also includes a 2 day Workshop on Leadership Skills Development titled "Leadership Competencies for Business Growth ". More than 30 participants from various local industries and academia are taking part in the Workshop.
