HYSEA celebrated its 15th Annual Awards Function on 31st May 2007 at Hotel Fortune Katriya.  The Honorable Chief Minister Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy gave away the awards at a glittering ceremony.  Over 200 delegates from member companies participated in the function. 

Dr. Anil Jampala, President, HYSEA  delivered the welcome address and described HYSEA activites in the past year and also spelt out the road map for HYSEA in the coming year.

The guest of honour, Shri B. Ramalinga Raju, founder and chairman of Satyam Computer Services Limited, appreciated HYSEA for its services to the IT industry.  He spoke about the role of IT and ITES industry in the development of the state of Andhra Pradesh. Shri R.Damodar Reddy, Minister of IT&C, Government of AP was the other Guest of honor.

Speaking on the occasion the Chief Minister elaborated on the steps being taken to make Hyderabad the preferred destination for IT companies. The Chief Minister also stated that the Central Government was actively considering the extension of concessions to the IT sector beyond 2009 to further accelerate the growth in this sector.  The CM also assured the IT sector of all necessary support to ensure they continue their growth momentum in the state.  He felt this was crucial for additional job creation.

Shri A.V.Ramam, Vice President, HYSEA proposed the Vote of Thanks. The awards function was followed by a cultural program presented by the associates of various member companies.
