The 4th HR Forum meeting began with Nandan Vaidya, Coordinator, Compensation and Benefit survey making a presentation on the C&B Survey Methodology and Timelines to be followed for the survey.

The meeting also deliberated on implementation of Labour Laws in the IT & ITES Industry with particular reference to the Contract Labour and CLRA (Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act 1970.

The need for a Legal and Regulatory helpline at HYSEA was emphasized again.

The issue of Harassment at Work Place with particular reference to women was discussed. It was the members view that it is advisable for every company to have a complaints committee by employees 50% of which should consist of women employees.
