Hyderabad Software Exporters Association (HYSEA ) invited Dr.Krishna Vedula, Professor and Dean Emeritus, University of Massachusetts Lowell to the breakfast meeting of the HYSEA CEO forum on 16th March' 07 at The Mehfil/Majlis, Taj Banjara.

Dr.Krishna Vedula addressed the industry leaders from IT & ITES sector on a very important topic "US-India Collaboration for Global Engineering Education".

Dr.Krishna Vedula has been closely associated with the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). ASEE along with academic and business leaders from leading US and Indian universities have launched an initiative to build US-India collaborations in order to make engineering education and research more relevant to the needs of the global society and to the aptitudes and aspirations of the new generations of youth. The objective of the HYSEA CEO forum was to capture the industry expectations on this initiative and to make this venture a truly meaningful exercise for mutual benefit. Also invited were some of the key stake holders from the academia to attend this session.
